OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the Leaving Care/LAC Team based in Bedford. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.


The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £28.00 (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker

* Degree or equivalent in social work

* Current HCPC registration

* Previous experience within a LAC Team is essential

* Leaving Care experience

* Experience of Asylum seeking cases would be ideal

* Must be a car driver - some out of County work may be required

* System is Azeus - initial training will be provided.


Specific Role Information

Bedford Borough Council are looking for a Social Worker to join their Leaving Care/LAC team.


Pay rate:


PAYE (inc. pensions): £21.70 p/hr.


The Team work with Looked After Children 15-18 and Care Leavers up to 25, previous experience in this role is essential. There may be complex cases to be undertaken as well.


There is a duty system in place.


Caseloads are on average 20 per worker.
