OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the Leaving Care Team based in London Borough of Southwark. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.

 

The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £27.27 + £0.94 AWR (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Specific Role Information

Social Worker required for a busy leaving care team. The Social Worker will be based within the leaving care service and will work with young people age 16-18 years old.

The Social Worker will need to have experience of working with care leavers.

 

To work within a systemic framework to provide a comprehensive and effective integrated social work service to respond to the needs of children and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines. To work closely with the practice group to assess need, plan and deliver focused intervention to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.

 

Each team will have 3 SW 1 PA and 1 Experienced Practitioner (with a specialism in one of the following areas Housing, Young women, substance misuse and Housing) We also have a clinical hub who will provide support to the practice group and deliver systemic practice within group supervision.
