OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the Cared for Children and Care Leavers Service based in Middlewich. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.

 

The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £26.15 + £0.56 AWR (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker

* Degree or equivalent in social work

Specific Role Information

x2 posts within the cared for children and care leavers service

x1 post is to cover a vacancy within the team and x1 post to cover maternity leave.

supporting children and families following entering in care or the making of a Full Care Order, supporting day to day care planning, pathway planning and permanency planning through to rehabilitation to parents and discharge of care orders, long term foster care/ residential care, placement with extended families. Understanding of the care planning regulations necessary. Court work required in regards to appeals, contact, adoption work, SGO applications and discharge of care orders. Signs of stability approached used within signs of safety model.
