OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the Multidisciplinary Team based in John Radcliffe Hospital, Headington. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.
The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £27.00 - £32.00 (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Current HCPC registration
* Relevant experience.
Specific Role Information
Preferably the candidate will have had experience in working with adults in a hospital setting as part of a Multidisciplinary team.
The John Radcliffe is a busy acute hospital-work focuses on admission avoidance and timely discharge

As a qualified Social Worker, registered with HCPC, you will need strong interpersonal and organisational skills. Assessment of needs needs, formulate outcomes and undertake reviews using a person-centred approach designed to provide meaningful choice and promote wellbeing. You must be able to work autonomously, prioritise your work and respond flexibly to competing demands.
An excellent working knowledge of legislation and current policies is required. Social Workers are required to undertake various duties to include; assessments under the Care Act 2014, mental capacity assessments, reviews of funded care and safeguarding work
Role includes Assessment and discharge planning from an acute hospital.
Excellent communication skills and record keeping on data base (liquid logic) required.
