OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the Child Protection & Care Proceedings Team based in Abingdon. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.


The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £27.50 - £36.00 (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker

* Degree or equivalent in social work

* Current HCPC registration

* Significant experience as keyworker for children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans

* Significant experience as keyworker for Looked after Children

* Significant experience of PLO

* Ability to write high quality reports within timescales

* Ability to work with multiagency core groups

* Ability to undertake direct work with children

* Ability to undertake direct work with parents and families.


Specific Role Information

This worker is required to work in a fast paced child protection and care proceedings team and needs to have experience and confidence in working directly with children and families, writing high quality reports for conference and court and managing multiagency groups.


Keyworker for children subject to CiN, CP and Care Proceedings.
