The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.
The pay rate for this Senior Practitioner role is £32.00 (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Specific Role Information
Job Title: Senior Practitioner
Location: Mariner House, Ipswich
Length of assignment: ASAP for an initial 6 months
Hours per week: 37
Hourly rate: £28 PAYE OR £32 Umbrella or Limited
Suffolk County Council and Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) work jointly to provide mental health services under a S75 Partnership Agreement. The Integrated Delivery Team (IDT) model of service delivery is innovative and still developing. The team require a senior practitioner to join their team for an initial 6 months. The team provide a service to 0 - 25 year olds. You will be supporting the multi-disciplinary team by taking a lead in day-to-day clinical priorities and complex practice issues. You will also be supporting the team manager by taking on other leadership roles including the provision of professional and management supervision, chairing MDT meetings and multi-agency liaison.
You will ideally have experience in working with children and young people or have skills, knowledge and experience that are directly transferable to this area of work. You will also have the opportunity to build links with local services for young people. Working alongside other agencies you will be expected to comprehensively assess mental health needs as well as formulate risk and implement safe risk management within the Care Programme Approach.
You will be required to travel frequently in rural areas, so you must hold a full and valid driving licence and have access to personal transport.
Due to the specialist nature of the role and service, experience of community mental health work is essential.
