OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Senior Practitioner to work full time within the Looked after Children Team based in Lichfield. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.

 

The pay rate for this Senior Practitioner role is £32.34 (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Specific Role Information

The Care Proceedings Team is responsible for Care Proceedings from granting of the Interim Care Order to granting of final orders for all age children.

 

You will be responsible for assessments, Court statements and presenting evidence to the Court. You will have responsibility for planning for children in the care of the Local Authority which can be for return home, placement with friends or family, adoption or long term fostering, and undertaking the care planning and Court work required to ensure timely permanency planning is achieved for children

 

The ability to engage and communicate with children is essential and to support children in care to reach their full potential. You will need to work closely with colleagues in Safeguarding, Fostering, Adoption and Friends and Family Teams.
