OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the Care for Children's Service based in Middlewich. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.

 

The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £25.00 + £0.54 AWR (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker

* Degree or equivalent in social work

* Current HCPC registration

* Relevant experience.

 

Specific Role Information

Social worker within the cared for children's service. To support children and young people through to permanence including those subject to care orders or section 20 placed within foster care, residential, with connected carers or with parents. Understanding of the care planning regulations and legislation required. To manage own caseload with regular supervision to support, care planning responsibilities and support transition to step down in regards to legal orders, to be confident in progressing case to adoption, working with families and carers and to support transition to adulthood.

Good understanding of corporate parenting responsibilities and experience of court work desirable and understanding of safeguarding process.
