The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.


The pay rate for this Senior Practitioner role is 'please specify desired rate' (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Senior Practitioner

* Degree or equivalent in social work

* Current HCPC registration

* Appreciate diversity in both customers and colleagues and consider their specific needs

* Flexible approach to a complex and high risk case load, considering different customer needs

* Good knowledge of ICT, including Word, Outlook and other programmes relevant to the role.


Specific Role Information

This is for the role of a senior practitioner.

The person needs to have extensive knowledge in fostering and be able to pick up the role in the service quickly.

I am looking for a senior practitioner with good experience within the fostering team. They will be supervising social worker and will be carrying a caseload as well as completing assessments for new recruitment and working on the recruitment drive. This would equate to an Assistant Team manager role.


To oversee the running of the Shared Care team under the management of the CHAD team manager.

To be able to supervise Shared Care Link Social worker.
