OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the Children's Duty & Assessment Team based in Keynsham. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.
The pay rate for this Social Worker role is pay depending on experience (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Current HCPC registration
* IT literate
* Risk management.
Specific Role Information
To carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Children Act 1989, Children Act 2004 and other relevant legislation.
b) To establish and implement service and care plans for children and their families in accordance with local and national procedures.
c) To manage a caseload which may include children and families with complex needs and require multi-agency co-ordination
d) To maintain electronic client records systems in accordance with departmental procedures.
e) To maximise life chances for Children in Need and Children Looked After.
f) To contribute to Team Plans and the achievement of agreed targets for Children in Need, Child Protection, Children Looked After and care leavers.
g) To participate in training and staff Protection and Children Looked After.
h) Development in accordance with Personal Development Plans agreed during Performance Review.
i) To adhere to and promote B&NES Equal Opportunities Policy and adopt practices that are inclusive and anti-discriminatory.
