OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the South Ipswich CiN Team based in Ipswich. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.

 

The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £28.00 (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker

* Degree or equivalent in social work

* Current HCPC registration

* Relevant experience.

 

Specific Role Information

Main duties - to undertake Social Work Assessments, CIN need and Child Protection planning, writing reports and Court statements, attending initial Court hearing for ICO's SO and also undertaking S7 and S37 reports for Private Law Proceedings, undertaking office duty, direct work with children and families, signposting and working with other agencies, co-ordinating resources and providing specific interventions for families, Pre-birth assessment, Risk Assessments and Parenting assessments, Chairing complex multi - agency meetings, including CIN, Core and planning meeting, placing children in LA care and attending Child In Care planning meetings and reviews.
