OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Team Manager to work full time within the Asylum Team based in London Borough of Southwark. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.


The pay rate for this Team Manager role is £33.96 (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Team Manager

* Degree or equivalent in social work

* Current HCPC registration

* Effective communicator

* Management experience

* Organised

* PC literate

* Able to write reports.


Specific Role Information

Specialised role working unaccompanied with Asylum seeking children. Extensive experience at management practice level. Significant familiarity with legislation guidance best practice. Working alongside colleagues to ensure outcome including Asylum claims regulation of status and other legal outcome achieved. Lead on best practice with UASC. Assisting and development of operational policy and procedure. Learning and development of colleagues undertake quality assessment and human rights undertaken by social workers/line management specialists. Assistance with data collection and quality assistance for the Asylum grant claims.


Highly experienced Team Manager, able to take a child centered systemic approach. Must be able to prioritise performance personal high standards able to motivate staff also ensure compliance and performance standard. Must be flexible. Able to work with management team whilst understanding that demonstrating impact and outcomes are priority.
