OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the Children & Families service team based in Derbyshire. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.

 

The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £23.00 + £0.69 AWR (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker

* Degree or equivalent in social work

* Current HCPC registration

* Degree in relevant subject. Social work qualifications and registered social worker status

* Experience as a senior social worker

* Significant experience of social worker practice

 

Specific Role Information

Role is within the Children and Care team in the Erewash area of Derbyshire. Worker must be able to travel. The role will be to undertake duty within the team, as well as developing and progressing care plan for looked after children.

 

- Duty within team.

- Statutory duties relating to children in care.

- Court work relating to looked after children.

- Developing and progressing care and pathways plans.

- Direct work with children.

- Knowledge of looked after procedures.

- Experience of discharging care orders and rehabilitating children back to family.

- Minimum of 3 years CIC experience.

- Last role really needs to be Children in Care role.
