Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.
The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £28.00(Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Current HCPC registration
* Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience
* Extensive experience with Safeguarding
* Strong assessment skills
* Must be a car driver with access to own vehicle
* Desirable - MASH experience.
Specific Role Information
Luton Council are looking for 2 x Social Workers to join their Safeguarding & Care Management Team based in Clemitson House, Luton.
Whilst these workers are needed for the Safeguarding & Care Management Team, the focus of these roles will be Safeguarding - triage/screening, duty response and undertaking S.42 Enquiries in accordance with statutory duties/frameworks. Therefore we are looking for workers who are experienced in Adult Safeguarding, any MASH specific experience would also be beneficial.

Customers will include adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairment, dementia and related problems (other than clients managed by the Mental Health Trust) and other residents with multiple needs at risk of harm or neglect, and their carers, in accordance with the statutory responsibilities of the Local Authority.
