OneTrue are recruiting for a committed Social Worker to work full time within the Adult Learning Disabilities Team based in London Borough of Merton. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working in the same or a similar service, be very dedicated, personable and willing to contribute positively to the team and service to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes are delivered. Applicants must have previous experience working with UK statutory services and hold valid HCPC registration.

 

The pay rate for this Social Worker role is £22.92 (Umbrella Company) per hour and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker

* Degree or equivalent in social work

* Current HCPC registration

* Effective communicator

* IT literate

* Organised

* Experience of working with people with learning disabilities

* Knowledge of Care Act 2014

* Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

 

Specific Role Information

We require a locum social worker with knowledge and experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities to provide 3 months of support to the team to help reduce our waiting lists.

 

The Merton Learning Disabilities team is a fully integrated health and Social Care team working with working age adults with a range of Learning Disabilities.

 

Assessment and support planning, safeguarding adults duties, mental capacity assessments and Best interests checklists. The successful candidate will also be required to work on our duty desk, and we are looking for someone who is able to work in a busy multi-disciplinary environment.
